Simon is one of the co-founders of Heir of Insanity. Before that he had his own juggling shop called 'The Ugly Jugglers' and he became affectionately known as Simon Ugly. With skills as diverse as acrobatics, aerial and accountancy, Simon also creates and designs everything from free-standing structures to flight cases. He also has an incredible ability to be able to pick anything up and do it well, much to the chagrin of everyone else. He is soon to move to the woods to live with partner Gina.

Gina

One half of the dynamic acrobatic and aerial company Heir of Insanity, Gina has a background in dance, gymnastics, choreography and theatre. Her extensive performance experience shows through in any project Gina undertakes or is involved with. Her natural exuberence also shines through whether she is involved in a show, tearing down a mountainside on her bike or skiing the mountains of Europe. Gina is currently building a Mongolian yurt to live in
with her partner Simon.

Melisssa, like most little girls, studied dance from the age of six. She eventually became a teacher and excelled at both tap and classical. Melissa also studied and became very proficient in hairdressing, make-up, beauty therapy and fashion design, so her skills within the company are uncountable. Melissa's natural ability to communicate with children makes her an invaluable member of the team and her fashion sense keeps us all in line.

Ade

After 20 years behind the scenes in television and theatre, Ade is now happy to be in front of the audience. He came to performing and Circus quite late but took to stilt walking and character work with a natural aplomb and gay abandon and now revels in his life of performing. He is as happy riding around on his mountain bike as he is on his Yamaha Fazer. A keen natural gardner and vegetable grower, he loves anything that involves recycling and keeping the environment in a healthier state.

Having trained in Australia in dance and theatre, Mark came to the UK and studied Circus. He has worked with many well known circus companies including Heir of Insanity, with whom he still works. Mark has been performing for 16 years and still feels blessed to have the spontaneous and creative life he has. Mark is also a qualified hairdresser. In his 'spare' time, he likes to cook, garden, paint, ride his bike and climb trees, oh and unfortunately he is addicted to video games!
