Flume is an alien sea monkey who's ship just happened to crash on the sunny shores of Australia! Hence his rather unusual and ear splitting Aussie twang.

 

Culturally, he's not very adept but is on the search to find love and sanctions the help of all those he encounters to help him on his quest.
